Fergie had make the start off line up with mostly the youngsters like Ben Foster, Rafael and Fabio Da Silva, Gibson, Wellbeck, Anderson and 'Kiko' Macheda.
And it had become common knowledge that Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Edwin van der Sar had not even made the trip, while Ryan Giggs was down on most people's lists of the men to be excluded as well.
Both side tried hard to score but end up full time with 0-0.
After a goalless and frankly rather tepid two hours, Howard saved a woeful penalty from MU record signing Dimitar Berbatov and another from Rio Ferdinand to send the Toffeemen into ecstasy.
I think fergie will let some youngester to play...mayb Kiko, Evan and Gibson....need to rest some 1st team players...the game's schedules going very tight among this 2 month.
